American Food Promotion in Maarssen

April 23, 2008 – One of the Netherlands’ U.S. specialty foods importers, American Food Service, organizes a table top meeting in Maarssen.  Mr. Gerard Chin a Kwie of American Food Service imports a variety of specialty foods from the U.S., ranging from green tea to ice coffee and from wine ice cream to cake mixes.  During the table top presentation Mr. Chin a Kwie meets with buyers from leading Dutch retailers, wholesalers and specialty and department stores.  For more information about the potential for the various U.S. specialty foods on the Dutch market, please have a look at the following report, http://www.fas.usda.gov/gainfiles/200709/146292322.pdf.
