The Ambassador hosted an evening of reading and discussion with Thomas Buergenthal, U.S. judge at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, and author of A Lucky Child: A Memoir of Surviving Auschwitz as a Young Boy. 

He was one of the youngest survivors of the Auschwitz and Sachsenhausen concentration camps.
