Ambassador Hartog Levin visits Province of Overijssel

The Ambassador travelled to the Province of Overijssel as part of her intention to visit every province in the Netherlands.

The Ambassador met with the Mr. Geert Jansen, Queen’s Commissioner of Overijssel and Mr. Henk Jan Meijer, Mayor of Zwolle. They discussed national election and regional issues, including the region’s effort to develop green technologies.

The Ambassador then visited De Fundatie Museum and met with Mr. Ralph Keuning, the museum's director.  After a walking tour of the city, the Ambassador toured a plant that processes waste into energy.

The visit concluded with a round table discussion with local entrepreneurs focusing on innovative, green approaches to industry and manufacturing.
