K. Terry Dornbush
1994-1998

K. Terry Dornbush was the 60th Ambassador of the United States to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. He arrived in the Netherlands in March 1994 and left office in August 1998. Ambassador Dornbush's previous career encompassed more than thirty-five years of experience in corporate finance, business, banking, and real estate. Ambassador Dornbush received his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University with a major in Economics.

After serving as regimental commander of the Vanderbilt Reserve Officer Training Corps, he was assigned to the 436th Civil Affairs Military Government of the U.S. Army reserve and held the rank of captain

Born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1933, Ambassador Dornbush is married to Dr. Marilyn Pierce Dornbush, a pediatric neuropsychiatrist. They have three grown children.
